list of common spelling mistakes. When
cleaning up, it can automatically replace any
misspelled words it encounters with the correct

Remove e-mail reply marks. These are the > symbols that appear in e-mail messages to mark text copied from another message. |

Remove extra spacing at the beginning of lines. Text Cleanup can remove unwanted paragraph or line indentations. |

Remove extra spaces in between words. Text Cleanup can ensure that you have one, and only one, space in between each word in a sentence. |

Clean up spacing in between sentences. Text Cleanup can format your text so that you always have the same number of spaces (1 or 2, depending on your writing style) after a period, question mark, or exclamation point. |

Commonly used settings can be stored into presets, for quick and easy access later. Text Cleanup also includes some built-in presets, with some general purpose settings to get you started.

Using Text Cleanup is as easy and copy and paste! Text Cleanup includes an Auto Clean setting. When Auto Clean is enabled, Text Cleanup works "behind the scenes", cleaning text automatically in the background, with virtually no extra effort.
All you have to do is cut or copy the text from any
program, and then use the standard "paste"
command it to see it cleaned!
Built-In Word Processor / Text Editor
As an alternative to Auto Clean, Text
Cleanup includes a Notepad-like program to allow you to
edit and clean text interactively. Text Cleanup can
open, edit, and save standard text files.
Hot-Key
For even more flexibility, Text Cleanup
installs a Windows hot-key on your system. This is
another alternative to Auto Clean, which
allows you to clean text with a single
key stroke. And, this works from any program!
System Tray Menu
Text Cleanup may optionally run as a
system tray program. Its icon stays in the system
tray, at the lower right corner of the screen, saving
space on your task bar. Right-clicking on the icon
brings up a list of commonly used commands.
